Shift Location: Rood Center - 950 Maidu Avenue in Nevada City, CA Shift Description: Packet Pickup will be open 6:45-7:50 am on Saturday. After the start at 8:00 am, you will help disassemble leftover packets and put away all registration materials. During packet pickup in the Reg Area, volunteers will welcome the riders, perform rider verification activities, pull packets sorted numerically, and communicate very general ride information.

Support riders on the grueling course in areas that might not be accessible with a 4 wheeled vehicle. Use your own motorcycle. This is a big task and you're in for the whole day and we appreciate you for it! FULL DAY SHIFT. Mandatory briefing at the Rood Center at 7:15am the morning of the ride (10/5). You must be a member of Truckee Dirt Riders or Nevada County Woods Riders, or recommended by one of the clubs.

We need you to come by and pick up equipment from us between 5:00-7:00 PM the day before the event so you're ready to go on race day. You will need to have a truck or SUV that can carry a 10x10 tent, tables and water jugs plus a few other items. Aid station volunteers will arrive where you set up and help you get the job done. You're our hero!   Driving time from Rood Center: 30 minutes. LONG & MEDIUM COURSES will see this station. Distance from start of ride: 12.6 miles.  Setup time: 8:00 am. First expected rider: 8:30 AM, Last expected rider: 10:15AM.

SAG Driver: Support riders on the grueling course. Use your own vehicle. Ideally 4WD since this route consists of a fair amount of dirt roads. We want to connect with you the evening or afternoon PRIOR to the event to make sure you're connected with the right communications channels (our lead SAG personnel) and pick up some basic SAG support gear from us, water, etc so you're ready to hit the road first thing in the morning with clear instructions.
