Show Office Assistant
7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Assist with running Show Office (in the lobby of the Rood Center) during the event. You will be inside and not in direct contact with the participants / away from the festivities since the Rood Center access will be for staff and volunteers only.
Aid Station #1 - EMS - Sierra Family Medical Clinic
8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at AS#1. Driving time from Rood Center: 30 minutes. LONG & MEDIUM COURSES will see this station. Distance from start of ride: 12.6 miles. Setup time: 8:00 am. First expected rider: 8:30AM, Last expected rider: 10:15AM.
Aid Station #1 - Sierra Family Medical Clinic
8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
As an aid station volunteer you will need to arrive at the aid station at 8:00am. Your aid station lead will give you direction on setting up, hosting riders and tearing down. Driving time from Rood Center: 30 minutes. LONG & MEDIUM COURSES will see this station. Distance from start of ride: 12.6 miles. Setup time: 8:00 am. First expected rider: 8:40AM, Last expected rider: 10:15AM.
Search and Rescue
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This position is for those that are part of Nevada County Search and Rescue. Please make a note of what position you will be doing, SAG, Moto, or Aid station.
Venue Setup
8:15 AM - 11:00 AM
Help us set up anything and everything for the post-ride festivities! Please wear close-toed shoes, we will be moving tables, chairs, tents, etc. Shift location is at the Sunken Gardens.
Aid Station #2 - EMS - N. Bloomfield Graniteville @ Moores Flat (Water Stop)
8:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Provide basic first aid for riders. First riders should arrive by 9:15AM and the last rider should be through by 11:00AM. Drive time is about 43 minutes from Rood Center. Basic first aid supplies will be provided, if you have your own bag, please bring it and supplies will be replenished if needed.
Aid Station #2 - N. Bloomfield Graniteville @ Moores Flat (Water Stop)
8:45 AM - 11:00 AM
As an aid station volunteer you'll provide riders with hydration products and limited nutrition. Your aid station lead will provide direction for set up, hosting and tear down. First riders should arrive by 9:15 and the last rider should be through by 11:00. Drive time is about 43 minutes from Rood Center.
Aid Station #3 - EMS - Graniteville
9:15 AM - 12:00 PM
Provide basic first aid to riders as needed. Make decisions about more critical injuries as needed. Basic first aid supplies will be provided, bring your own bag if you have one, supplies will be replenished as needed. Driving time from Rood Center: 1h05. Setup time: 9:20 am. First expected rider: 9:50 am. Last expected rider: 11:30 am.
Aid Station #5 - EMS - Lake City
9:15 AM - 3:15 PM
Provide basic first aid to riders as needed. Make decisions regarding more critical injuries if required. Basic first aid supplies will be provided, bring your own bag if you have one, we'll provide resupply if required. Driving time (from Rood Center): 30 min. Setup time: 9:15 am. First expected rider: 9:45am. Last expected rider: 3:15 pm.
Aid Station #5 - Lake City
9:15 AM - 3:15 PM
Provide riders with nutrition and hydration products. Assist aid station lead with hosting riders, setup and tear down. Driving time (from Rood Center): 30 min. Setup time: 9:15 am. First expected rider: 9:45am. Last expected rider: 3:15 pm.
Aid Station #4 - EMS - Gaston Rd. @ Relief Hill Rd.
9:45 AM - 1:30 PM
Provide basic first aid to riders as needed. Make decisions regarding more critical injuries. Basic first aid supplies will be provided, bring your own bag if you have one, re-supply will be provided if needed. Drive time from Rood Center: 31 min. Setup time: 9:45 am. First expected rider: 10:25 am. Last expected rider: 1:25 pm
Show Office Assistant
11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Assist with running Show Office (in the lobby of the Rood Center) during the event. You will be inside and not in direct contact with the participants / away from the festivities since the Rood Center access will be for staff and volunteers only.
SAG Driver
12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
SAG Driver: Support riders on the grueling course. Use your own vehicle. Ideally 4WD since this route consists of a fair amount of dirt roads. We want to connect with you the evening or afternoon PRIOR to the event to make sure you're connected with the right communications channels (our lead SAG personnel) and pick up some basic SAG support gear from us, water, etc so you're ready to hit the road first thing in the morning with clear instructions.
Beverage Shift #2
2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
MUST BE OVER 21. We'll have plenty of beer thanks to Green Valley Brewery. Get instant love from people by handing them a cup of cold beer. They might even love you more if it's not all foam ;) First timers will have their ID checked to get a "21+ age verified"" wristband.
Clean Up/Tear Down
4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Volunteers will help with various stages of tear down, including moving equipment and supplies onto trailers and trucks. Heavy lifting will be required. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring work gloves if you have some.
