The Parking/Traffic Crew will have a crucial role in making participants' arrival easy and straightforward. The Host will be the first person people see driving in (posted at the main entrance by the Cal Fire station), and the 3 other crew members will manage loading zones and parking lots (only one open at a time) and will patrol (on their bike) the roads to make sure no one is parking where they are not supposed to.You will be given instructions and a radio before you get out there.

Lots of categories so lots of prizes to award!  Podium ceremony will start at 5:30 pm but we need time to organize them! Fast pace shift; the objective is to go through podiums relatively quickly so we can all go relax and get a beer to celebrate a great weekend in the pines.

Help us direct vehicles and tell them where/how to park so we can fit as many vehicles as possible in the dirt lot, which is the main parking area for the event. When this lot fills up, redirect people to the overflow parking lot by the pond. Bring a yellow/orange vest if you have one, otherwise you will be lended one for your shift. Please check in with Bike Monkey staff when you arrive for more instructions.

You will drive (in your own vehicle) assigned sections of the course to provide assistance to distressed riders if needed, relay messages to riders, shuttle riders to aid stations and generally be eyes on the course. Personal vehicles will be used, and must be able to reliably transport at least 2 bicycles. You must provide valid driver's license and auto insurance. Specific assignments will be arranged by the SAG coordinator. Strong SAG qualifications include being a mechanic, an EMT (both is great), or a HAM operator, and/or having previous event experience driving SAG.
7:45 AM - 10:30 AM
Mile 13.5 Muscle Powered! This aid station will be providing minimal nutrition and plenty of hydration for the beginning of the Brunswick Canyon section.  Riders should be cautioned that they will be starting down a steep section of unpaved road and should take great care on the descent. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Mile 21 This aid station will have more food options and expect riders to stop for a break and to refuel.  Racers may not stop at this is in the middle of a timed segment. Be prepared to handle food and be able to lift 50+ lbs. Volunteers may snack on the supplies provided. First rider arrival time (approximate):  9:00,  Last rider arrival time (approximate):  11:15,  Tear down time: 11:45, Return to finish: 12:45

Help us set up anything and everything for the post-ride festivities! Please wear close-toed shoes, we will be moving tables, chairs, tents, etc. Shift location is at the Sunken Gardens.
Mile 41.6 Sponsored by Canyon. This station is in between timed sections, so riders may take their time getting there. The next section is paved until the last aid station (7 miles up) and the start of the last climb.  Please let riders know that no food will be available at the last aid station. There will be activations from the following sponsors at this aid station: Canyon and Visit Carson Valley. Be prepared to handle food, lift up to 50 lbs, and setup/tear down. ***Aid Station Schedule***  Drive Time: 0:20, First rider (approx): 10:00am,  Last rider (approx): 2:00pm, Tear down time: 2:15pm, Return to finish: 2:30pm
Mile 57.3 - Long course riders only. This aid station will be providing plenty of hydration. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Supplies for this aid station must be PICKED UP BY LEAD by 8:40 am Saturday at Fuji Park. Supplies will be available at Fuji Park on Friday evening until about 7:00 pm and on Saturday morning starting at 6:00 am. Supply pickup time: 8:40, Drive time: 10 minutes, Set up time: 9:30, First Rider: 10:00, Last Rider: 2:15 PM, Break Down time: 2:30 PM. LARGE TRUCK OR VAN REQUIRED: to transport water jugs, ice chests, pop-up tents, tables, etc.
Mile 57.3 - Long course riders only. This aid station will be providing plenty of hydration. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Mile 66.9 - Long course riders only. This aid station will be providing plenty of hydration. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Drive time: 9 minutes. Set up time: 10:30, First Rider: 111:00, Last Rider: 3:30 PM, Break Down time: 3:30 PM.

You have the coolest shift because people love beer! Help us pour the finisher beer at the Revision tap trailer. Each participant (and volunteer!) gets a drink voucher that they can redeem for a free beer at the Festival between 11 am and 5 pm. Please check-in at the Bike Monkey tent at Fuji Park.

Assist Festival Director during Awards Ceremony and run prizes to the podium for each category.
