Assist with running Show Office (in the lobby of the Rood Center) during the event. You will be inside and not in direct contact with the participants / away from the festivities since the Rood Center access will be for staff and volunteers only.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at AS#1. Driving time from Rood Center: 30 minutes. LONG & MEDIUM COURSES will see this station. Distance from start of ride: 12.6 miles. Setup time: 8:00 am. First expected rider: 8:30AM, Last expected rider: 10:15AM.
As an aid station volunteer you will need to arrive at the aid station at 8:00am. Your aid station lead will give you direction on setting up, hosting riders and tearing down. Driving time from Rood Center: 30 minutes. LONG & MEDIUM COURSES will see this station. Distance from start of ride: 12.6 miles. Setup time: 8:00 am. First expected rider: 8:40AM, Last expected rider: 10:15AM.

This position is for those that are part of Nevada County Search and Rescue. Please make a note of what position you will be doing, SAG, Moto, or Aid station.

Help us set up anything and everything for the post-ride festivities! Please wear close-toed shoes, we will be moving tables, chairs, tents, etc. Shift location is at the Sunken Gardens.
Provide basic first aid for riders.  First riders should arrive by 9:15AM and the last rider should be through by 11:00AM. Drive time is about 43 minutes from Rood Center. Basic first aid supplies will be provided, if you have your own bag, please bring it and supplies will be replenished if needed.
As an aid station volunteer you'll provide riders with hydration products and limited nutrition.  Your aid station lead will provide direction for set up, hosting and tear down.  First riders should arrive by 9:15 and the last rider should be through by 11:00.  Drive time is about 43 minutes from Rood Center.

Basic first aid supplies will be provided, bring your own bag if you have one, supplies will be replenished as needed. Driving time from Rood Center: 1h05. Setup time: 9:20 am. First expected rider: 9:50 am. Last expected rider: 11:30 am.

Provide basic first aid to riders as needed. Make decisions regarding more critical injuries if required.  Basic first aid supplies will be provided, bring your own bag if you have one, we'll provide resupply if required. Driving time (from Rood Center): 30 min. Setup time: 9:15 am. First expected rider: 9:45am. Last expected rider: 3:15 pm.

SAG Driver: Support riders on the grueling course. Use your own vehicle. Ideally 4WD since this route consists of a fair amount of dirt roads. We want to connect with you the evening or afternoon PRIOR to the event to make sure you're connected with the right communications channels (our lead SAG personnel) and pick up some basic SAG support gear from us, water, etc so you're ready to hit the road first thing in the morning with clear instructions.

MUST BE OVER 21. We'll have plenty of beer thanks to Green Valley Brewery. Get instant love from people by handing them a cup of cold beer. They might even love you more if it's not all foam ;) First timers will have their ID checked to get a "21+ age verified"" wristband.

During packet pickup in the Reg Area, welcome the riders, perform rider verification activities, pull packets sorted numerically, and communicate very general ride information.

This is a generic registration for any EMS volunteers. Positions and times are coordinated through Ted Williams. Ted will be in contact with volunteers for more information and potential assignments. Actual shifts will be dependent on the location/position.

Personal vehicles will be used, and must be able to reliably transport at least 2 bicycles. You must provide valid driver's license and auto insurance. Specific assignments will be arranged by the SAG coordinator. Strong SAG qualifications include being a mechanic, an EMT (both is great), or a HAM operator, and/or having previous event experience driving SAG.

You will collect signed waivers, hand out rider packets and t-shirts, and assist with any other registration needs. We will go over the packet pickup process before you start your shift.

Shift Location: 35.534916, -120.858973 Shift Description: Please go directly to your aid station location on Saturday morning. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks -- set-up, assembling snacks, keeping drinks stocked... generally just remaining flexible and available to make sure our riders get what they need (drink or food). You may want to bring your own: camp chair, sunscreen, hat, snacks / lunch, speaker for music, and water. Volunteers are welcome to snack on aid station food and utilize the water supply. 
Shift Location: 35.502694, -120.803342 Shift Description: This aid station is located at the top of the Santa Rita Road climb and will provide riders with simple snacks and hydration, nothing fancy.  Volunteers will provide primarily hydration and some quick snacks, and help with set up and tear down. Please go directly to your aid station location on Saturday morning. You may want to bring your own: camp chair, sunscreen, hat, snacks / lunch, speaker for music, and water. Volunteers are welcome to snack on aid station food and utilize the water supply.

You will be at the intersection of East Mall & Palma Ave., stopping vehicle traffic coming from East Mall (one way street) when riders are crossing the finish line (on Palma Ave.), to make sure the riders can make a safe turn into Sunken Gardens. Please check in 10 min before your shift at Volunteer Check In (black "Bike Monkey" tent a the corner of West Mall & Palma Ave.) to get a vest and a flag. Shifts are 2 hours long, but you are welcome to sign up for one than one!

**Power shift** Help Bike Monkey staff take down the timing tent and festival venue. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Wear close-toe shoes and bring work gloves if you have some.
