Basic first aid certificate is a minimum requirement for this position. EMT, Paramedic, Nurse or Doctor qualification very welcome. Provide basic first aid, assess injuries and take appropriate action between recommending immediate evacuation to providing simple first aid. A stipend may be available. This position will start out at the first aid station and then relocate to the festival site after the aid station has closed.

Basic first aid certificate, EMT, Paramedic, nurse or doctor are all welcome to serve in this position.  Provide basic first aid, assess injuries and recommend course of action appropriate to the injury.  Will be responsible for own transportation and will need to fill out a Non-Owned Motorcycle/Vehicle Liability Insurance form for vehicle to be covered by event insurance.  A stipend is available.

Ham radio operators will provide net control and the ride director with situational awareness providing information on rider welfare and location, aid station needs, and relaying dispatch information for SAGs.  MUST be a currently licensed amateur radio operator.  All assignments and the communications plan will be managed by the COMM BOSS/ SCRA.  IF you are also interested in providing SAG support, please also sign up as a SAG.

You will ride assigned sections of the course to provide assistance to distressed riders if needed, relay messages to riders, shuttle riders to aid stations and generally be eyes on the course. Personal motos will be used. You must provide valid driver's license and auto insurance. Specific assignments will be arranged by the SAG / Moto coordinator. Strong Moto qualifications include being a bike mechanic, an EMT (both is great), or a HAM operator, and/or having previous event experience as an on-course moto. 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
You will drive (in your own vehicle) assigned sections of the course to provide assistance to distressed riders if needed, relay messages to riders, shuttle riders to aid stations and generally be eyes on the course. Personal vehicles will be used, and must be able to reliably transport at least 2 bicycles. You must provide valid driver's license and auto insurance. Specific assignments will be arranged by the SAG coordinator. Strong SAG qualifications include being a mechanic, an EMT (both is great), or a HAM operator, and/or having previous event experience driving SAG.

This aid station will have more food options and expect riders to stop for a break and to refuel before they head up the next big climb to Aid Station #3. Be prepared to handle food and to lift 50+ lbs with set up and break down. This is an all day volunteer shift. Volunteers can snack on the supplies provided, but bringing a lunch is highly recommended. You will man the Hospitality/Merchandise Tent: answer participants' questions, distribute beer tickets to riders, help with merchandise sales and assist with anything needed

Assist Festival Director during Awards Ceremony and run prizes to the podium for each category (3 to 5 people per podium).
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
**Power shift** Help Bike Monkey staff take down the timing tent and festival venue. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Wear close-toe shoes and bring work gloves if you have some.
